From 1988 to 2011, he worked as a freelance commercial graphic artist and, toward the end of this period, as a corporate graphic artist.
His artistic debut was in 2008 with the para-documentary film about musical improvisation entitled Small Spaces, which won a Golden REMI (2009) at the 42nd WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival (USA). The film was also nominated by TV Kino Polska for the award of Off Discovery of the Year.
He is the author of the film Jothabelsi, about a non-existent group (2009).
He initiated saving the Sopot sign from the PKP train station in Sopot (2011), and is the author of the installation entitled Dwaj ludzie z napisem Sopot (Two people with the Sopot sign) (2012), which won the Grand Prix at the Gdańsk Biennale of Art 2012 organized by the Gdańsk City Gallery.
He is the author of the action to Save the Shipyard Styrofoam at the Gdańsk Shipyard (2013).
He is the founder of the Un Gusto A Miel Art Foundation, which, in co-operation with the University of Gdańsk, organized the Between.Pomiędzy International Festival of Literature and Theatre in Sopot.
He has received grants and scholarships from the President of Gdańsk (2010), the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship (2012), the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw (2012), the President of Sopot (2013), and the Minister of Science and Higher Education (2013–14).
From 2011 to the present, he has been a doctoral student in the Workshop of Transdisciplinary Work in the Faculty of Sculpture and Intermedia, at ASP Gdańsk. From 2012, he has lectured in this faculty. The Symbiosity of Creation is his doctoral dissertation.
